Working on a particularly special mod for 0.981  :)
Yeeeaaaahhh Hornblower, this is great. You finally deciphred how to make those lunar maps! You should teach the rest of us step by step one day :D

I also would like to include small patches with hires textures on several solar system objects

FastFourierTransform, I didn't figure it out. That's an 8256 by 8256 image at LOD 9. It takes a second or so to load completely. I have a higher quality image of the landing site, but I can't use it without a higher cubemap LOD.

I don't really come on here anymore, I used to! a lot. but now Its kind of just for news and stuff. I don't talk anymore :/

I think I will only make 20 of the most tracked satellites according to this list
I won't have unique models for all the satellites. For satellites I can't find any models for, I'll use a generic CubeSat model
