Best find I ever saw! Very nice!
CO2 level is not a problem at all. Oxygen is a little too low though, but with training it might be possible to adapt. Temperature is high, but that's the average temperature. At the Ttidally locked planet, you could easily imagine cooler air closer to the back side. The big problem here is SO2. Allthough having a pretty low partial pressure SO2 level could be very unhealthy.

Planets with potentially breathable atmospheres

That's a good point -- we did rather assume to take this to be breathable for humans.  But if we generalize it to be breathable for any lifeform then it's very difficult to know what the limitations are, or what to search for.
At various times in the history of Earth, its atmospheric composition was very different than it is now.  So it is important to remember that not only might be better for other forms of life, but with time, it might evolve to become better for us too.

This planet has to much CO2 but could be breathable if the CO2 was replaced with nitrogen. You could survive on it if you used a mask or suit of some sort (reminds me of the planet from Avatar).

Planets with potentially breathable atmospheres

The search continues.
Here is my dossier of potentially breathable exoterras.
Of about 2 dozen otherwise habitable planets except for levels of CO[sub]2[/sub] which are too high, I've found about 5 planets in the Milky Way which are (probably, correct me if I'm wrong) habitable.

If I understand correctly as well, some of these terras would have the effect of heightening mental functioning through higher levels of oxygen  :)
scr01241.jpg
A thin atmosphere and a long day on this one.
scr01241.jpg
This one has a pretty thin atmo as well, though its appearance is exotic. Is this the "Barbie World" they talk about?
scr01241.jpg
This one is, afaik, habitable if not a little cold. But put a coat on and you'll be fine.
scr01241.jpg
And though this ones rotation is very slow, if you could work out a way to get around that you'd be living on a pretty beautiful planet. I love those 'whispy' landmasses and the comfortable and height-conducive 0.6g environment.

Oh - the pictures attached in a weird way. Whatever, too tired to sort it out lol. The pics at the bottom are in the right order.

Nice planets, but they have too much SO2 and CO2 so you could not survive for a long time on them

Yeah, either gas at those concentrations leads to a very unpleasant death within minutes.  The CO2 must be below 0.03 atm (the second column in the atmo tab), and the SO2 must be less than 10[sup]-4[/sup] just to survive for an hour, and preferably less than 10[sup]-5[/sup] (this is really hard to find in current version of SE).

The third planet also has too much oxygen.  Even without the CO2 and SO2, you would die of hyperoxia within a few hours.  The oxygen should be between 0.1 and 0.6 atm.

Planets with potentially breathable atmospheres

I'm new to this forum and I've been working hard to search too, but since I have not much knowledge on astronomy, I need some help from the pros and experts here. Thx very much.
Here is a close one:

One question: What is the minimum atm of O2 ? And how about the maximum level of CH4?

That is a shame!
Yeah, either gas at those concentrations leads to a very unpleasant death within minutes.
I was working under the (I guess false) impression that since we breathe oxygen, it can only be a good thing even in high concentrations. Well so much for that. Us damned unflexible humans...

I am pleased to say that I've pretty much found what seems to be Earth 2.0... Though unfortunately, the CO[sub]2 [/sub]levels are 2 times too dang high. But pretty close to breathable levels! So perhaps lightweight masks or some kind of implant filtering CO[sub]2 [/sub]could make living on the planet viable. And perhaps gene editing of some kind for long-term inhabitants. Observe, Earth 2.0, sitting 67.29 kly away:
scr00433.jpg
The day length, beautiful colours, epic mountains, broad rivers and seas, and near-Earth atmosphere almost make me think it's not precedural, but some kind of easter egg lol. On top of all that, it's toasty warm with some great beaches and perfect azure waters. And before you go thinking about settling it, as you can see - Palpatine already has dibs  ;)

[attachment=0]scr00433.jpg[/attachment]

edit: so after reading your post again, I see 10e-4 atm of SO2 is only survivable for an hour... Only suggestion for that one would be that visitors to and residents of this planet are given altimeters and always stay above an altitude at which the overall pressure is sufficiently low such that the SO2 is at safer levels. That, or an implant/gene edit/masks.

Watsisname mentioned above - 0.1 to 0.6 atm :)

What about N[sub]2[/sub]? Is there a min/max concentration or is it not necessary? Out of 100 earth-esque terras I find, 90 will have CO[sub]2[/sub] as the primary gas, 9 will have O[sub]2[/sub]as primary, and 1 will have N[sub]2[/sub] as primary and O[sub]2[/sub] as secondary. And 1 in 2 of the latter are tidally locked haha smh. The search for Earth-like terras is extremely challenging, which is a little off-putting. Is this realistic?

Ok, sorry for multipost, but based on the info about atmospheric pressures, I may have just found a very nice planet. It's not as "Earth Similar" as Terra 2 above, but it's got some of the best views in the Galaxy.
scr00472.jpg
scr00475.jpg
scr00476.jpg
Note good O[sub]2[/sub] (nearly 0.2), safe CO[sub]2[/sub], and more than safe SO[sub]2[/sub]. My only concern is overall pressure. Would this make it hard to breathe or something? And again the question of N[sub]2[/sub]may bring up issues.

Planets with potentially breathable atmospheres

ImperiumAssertor, OMG that "Earth 2.0" is awesome.  I've just spent a lot of time exploring around it.  Very nice find! :)  Yeah, the CO2 and especially SO2 are too high, but the planet has so many nice and Earth-like attributes besides.  And we can imagine using simple filters for the toxic stuff.
What about N2? Is there a min/max concentration or is it not necessary?
I'm not entirely certain, but I think because it is inert it doesn't matter, provided that the total pressure is survivable and the partial pressures of the gases we need, or are toxic, are in the respective ranges.

Gnargenox showed earlier that at low pressures (but above the Armstrong limit), the evaporation of water from the lungs causes a problem by displacing the other gases and effectively reducing the oxygen concentration.  There are a lot of other complicated factors and so it can be hard to figure out the breathability precisely.

Hello again.
Another close one: RSC 1228-2-4-1516-9 3. Tidally locked though.
Wondering whether we can reduce CO2 using photosynthesis...

Looks nice elemental, its hard to see all the numbers on your screenshot, but then again, I missed my eye doctor's appointment.

I double-dog dare anyone to spend an hour prancercizing on this planet!
