Strange sightings

14 Feb 2017 17:50

I actually went on and found other asteroids with atmospheres to see how common the bug is.  Very uncommon and hard to catch indeed, as they mostly appear in asteroid rings around gas giants, which makes them unlisted in the solar system browser. This is the smallest one I've found so far.

Strange sightings

In my custom galaxy (Galaxya), I found a strange volcano (RS 647347-11117-8-11981677-9122 B4) :

And a gas giant moon with a mass superior than Jupiter and it's size. It is the four object in size (from biggest to smaller).

Very weird, also beautiful picture with the gas giant in the background! :)

I have also seen bugged volcanoes, still probably qualifies as a strange sighting! :)
And a gas giant moon with a mass superior than Jupiter and it's size. It is the four object in size (from biggest to smaller).
I remember finding something like that, but very rare things indeed. :)
Also, the gas giants was way out in the system, which means larger hill sphere, which means stuff like that is more common way out.

Hey everyone, so i found something very strange.
I found an extremely fast spinning black hole. Has someone experienced something similar or/and can explain this to me? Thanks! :)

The black hole itself isn't spinning, the material in the accretion disc is though. It's very common to find these in SE.

alexander12370,
it is a neutron star and not a black hole. And it rotates in fact with 1.24 seconds per revolution.
What is completely normal for a neutron star. That is why they are also called pulsars.

If you're on it's southern hemisphere, this planet, which I will call "Krikkit," has the darkest, most boring sky in the Milky Way!

This is the cylindrical view.

Hornblower, very interesting and beautiful planet :)
Although it has almost no land, just one or two "continents", and some islands, it is still a awesome planet ;)

Found an object with strange, terraced, grid-like tesserae, like on Venus. Except, the "terrain" is the plasma of the photosphere of a red hypergiant.
