Hello,
I'm new here. Not quite as new to Space Engine itself, although I'm not anywhere near a veteran or anything. I enjoy flying across the cosmos, taking in the vastness of the universe, and creating small stories in my head which I then promptly forget.
I am also notable for my awful piloting skills.

A light year is a measure of length, not a measure of time :) A light year measures how far light (or other massless particles) can travel in a year (around 9.461.000.000.000 kilometers).
Space is too big to understand, so do not try to understand.

In case you haven't seen my signature, I used to be "connorneal2005". I became a bit bored of the forums. Came back after a while, No longer a quick login form. Tried using the old forum, No Google+ button. Only a button for uCoz users. Created a new account.

Old forum is there only as an archive for old threads, you can't logon anymore as far as I know.

Is there an addon where the spacecraft can look like the Space Shuttle, but can still fly like the other ship models?

Possible only post:
Does Space Engine have a Planet Nine? If it generates fictional but realistic planets in other parts of the universe, it seems like it would include the probably-existing ninth planet.
Space is very spacious.

Does Space Engine have a Planet Nine?
There are addons for Planet Nine in the old forum: http://old.spaceengine.org/forum/17-325 ... 1454611105

I would recommend the file 'Planet9New.sc'. Put it in 'addons\catalogs\planets'.
I have not tested it with SE 0.980, but I guess it still works.

Greetings space dwellers! I am Zero Industria, leader of an intergalactic civilization from the far flung future that possess a great deal of space between the Milky Way galaxy and Andromeda galaxies. In the future, Earth is among the systems under Industrian control. It is the provincial capitol of the Orion sector, home to six billion individuals.
All hail the Industrian Empire! May her glory rain down upon all like beams of light!

Hello, I am new to Space Engine. My name is Captain Tea, from Earth, trading in culinary herbs and spices along the galactic trade route along the Orion-Cynus Minor Arm in the Milky Way Galaxy. Your Space Engine is an excellent navigational aid. Thank You.

Hello again! I registered a while back but still can't post on the forum and I need some modding assistance, how can I level up in order to post? I any case my modding problem relates to the cube map and the generator crashing when creating the temp .raw files and for the life of me I can't figure out what to do.

I guess you want to make a new thread. Forum Rules got you covered:
  • - Before posting, please read the FAQ
  • - Post about bugs or problems in the troubleshooting and bug reports thread
  • - Post suggestions for the program in the suggestions thread
  • - Ask questions in the questions thread
  • - Use the search function and browse the sticky threads before creating a new thread; if a thread already exists on your topic, post in that thread instead of creating a new one.
  • - New users cannot create their own threads until they wrote 10 messages in existing threads.
