I usually post on the SpaceEngine reddit. I signed up here to more easily report bugs and ask questions of the developers.

Hello, Everyone!!
I am new in forum althought I play Space Engine for more than 2 years. I tried to post a new thread but, like I am new, I can't... so...

I have a curious situation... I always play Space Engine with keyboard and mouse, so, the travels are always fast and more to know the planets than anything. So, two weeks ago, I began to use a joystick to simulate a spaceship and adapted it to control the cameras. It was very interesting and fascinating, but... I began to feel a crazy dizziness when I was in a planet surface. It was like something there is wrong, I think it is about the scale sensation I have about the planet. It is like the planet there is smaller than in reality. Now, always I try to play Space Engine, I feel a bit dizzy when I approach a planet surface. Ah, I have a strong vertigo too, so bridge and high towers are torturing to me. Someone else already feel it?

Hi everyone, I make space related art & videos. Occasionally I use SpaceEngine for inspiration or for visualisations. Made an account to discuss some technical help about editing SpaceEngine to your needs, perhaps stick around around some astronomy topics.

Hi. I'm Ledg. Great software. Why don't I see a 'post new thread' button on this forum? How do I start a discussion?
Thanks.

Welcome. You have to participate in existing discussions with few more messages in order to gain permission to start a new thread, see the forum rules. Check existing threads in the meantime, there's a chance that you will find a fitting one.

Should have seen that. I can’t seem to locate an appropriate thread so I’ll ask here. Somehow asteroids got turned on and they show up as blobs everywhere ruining the immersion. I couldn’t find a switch to turn them off and needed to reinstall. How did they get turned on and how do I turn them off?
Thanks.

I just need to ask a question: is there any way to turn off the procedural generated stuff and just have the ACTUAL real things that exist?

Of course, hit F4 and deselect all objects marked as "procedural" in that "Show objects" window.

Hey everyone! New to the forums but I've been messing around with Space Engine for a long while now. Patiently waiting to see what else the devs have in store for the simulation.

Sorry for the late reply.
If you mean this points, turn off 'Markers'. (12th icon from the top of the right toolbar.)

In life i am an amateur astronomer and im in a astronomy club. Since the farther than I can remember, astronomy has always facinated me! As a litle boy I remember having slept on the grass to contemplate the sky and its constellation! Keep the magnific work! It a dream come true!
