Those features are early work in progress, in devs builds, none of them are in Steam main branch nor in Beta test.

My top wish for SpaceEngine is for the devs to be more transparent about WIP features.

I mean videos of the new accretion disks and clouds. Of course you're not sitting atop a pile of awesomeness, I just want to see more than 2 shots of the new volumetrics. I'm not gonna stay hyped to 6 pictures for several months, I've already lost most of my interest in this update.

I've already lost most of my interest in this update.
Surely there are other things in your life you can be focusing on besides the next SpaceEngine update? Just go live your life, do what you want to do, and forget about it. Then one day, it will be done and you can see it for yourself. For now, there's literally nothing else to show. How many different pictures do you want of the same thing? Even if I gave you 4 videos and 30 pictures right now, you'd just get bored again in a few weeks, and make another post like the one you're making now. The more time we spend playing engineer on your hype train, the less time we spend actually getting anything done, and the longer it takes for those features to be released.

I understand your desire to see more, but you have to keep everything in perspective, and you have to learn that not being in a state of perpetual hype for something isn't a bad thing. Learning how to be patient with things like this was one of the best skills I ever learned, and if you can learn the same skill, you'll feel better too.

Thanks for the update!  Can I go back to high and perhaps even ultra settings now?  Before the previous version, I was using Ultra at 720P but with 1378 I had to lower that to High, and then I decided to use the full resolution of the screen and up the resolution to 1280x1024, which made me have to lower the settings to Medium.  With these new optimizations I should be able to bump my settings up again?

Hey I'm back !!!! yesterday I just buy space engine on steam. So I'm so happy I can play without trouble. (I have a good computer) It took me 2 years without playing my favorite game because of my old pc who have a bad video card with 112 mb (that not enough for game -_-). Now I can play since yesterday :D this new version is very NICE, it's make me so happy. I wish they will add a new exoplanets discoveries each time they discover a new exoplanet I want to visit those new exoplanets in my favorite game ever :D don't forget, I need those NEW colors for Gaseous planets and telluric planets.

They're coming along, beyond that not much can be said but there are some good things coming "soon".
