These types of jets don't depend on the magnetic field. It's matter forced up or down from the accretion disk.
See the discussion I had last year in the Science and Astronomy board.
That's just for radiation, not gas emission.

The radiation is produced by gas being accelerated to relativistic speeds by the magnetic field.

That's a fair price. Same amount in Euro I guess?

[post]29091[/post] Will SpaceEngine 0.990 run?
Once installed and if there are no pending updates, SE doesn't need an active connection so it can be used in offline mode.
After purchase the 0.990,could you run it via clicking the exe files directly, without the lengthy login process to Steam. D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\SpaceEngine\system\SpaceEngine.exe

I'm not sure what lengthy login process you're referring to, unless you chose to authenticate for your Steam session every time. If you launch directly the SpaceEngine executable, it does launch the Steam client anyway.
There's also the feature "Create Desktop Shortcut" from the Steam client (right-click on the game name from the library list), which does exactly the same thing.

Incorrect, it will not run that way. It must be launched through the Steam client.

And Steam does not have a "lengthy login process", if you keep your Steam client always open (like I do), or if you have it save your credentials (save username/password) then login is immediate.

What if you are running 0.990 via Steam Client and the internet connection ceased function?Could you continue to launch the SE0.990 via Steam offline "login"?
Sorry about asking this strange question. I don't have a very stable connection so I nearly always play single player game that does not use too much internet connection

If you're running SE and you have lost connection, SpaceEngine doesn't care and still runs, while your Steam client says "No Connection" and not much else. If you close the Steam client, it will close SpaceEngine as well.
If you launch SpaceEngine with no connection, Steam client will ask you if you want to go in "offline mode", then it will launch SpaceEngine.

Thanks for your reply . If so, I have no problem running SE0.990 with poor connection. I was asking this question is because I played some #$%& game that shut down if connection is lost, even in single player mode.

Just run your Steam client in offline mode.
