On October 24 you said that the work was mostly completed ... 2 months later the steam version was going to be sent.Month and a half later nothing is known ... only that there are people who make videos on YouTube of the 0.9.9 impressive to give envy and the only answer I get is "I am a beta tester"
Could you be a little clearer?
Would not it be useful to launch the game as early access in steam and for people to buy it while it is updated periodically and so the product is released little by little as it improves and improves?
If you think that Space Engine is taking a lot of time to release... just think of poor Star Citizen Fans who have paid hundreds (if not thousands) of $ and what do they have to play with...
Yes it is taking a lot of time but if you had seen any of HarbingerDawn's Live-streams you would might have wanted to reconsider. In his very latest live-stream the program was crashing every now and then. It must have crashed at least 3 times if I recall correctly. This must be improved
before the program goes live on steam. I suspect that Vladimir is doing just that right now. No more additions and new features - just bug fixes. This can take a considerable amount of time. I wouldn't be surprised if the release comes around Q4 2019.
So next time you think Space Engine is taking too much time to get released just think of Star Citizen
