RSC is a star belongs to a star cluster (RC).
I thought retro skins should use simple (old) transparency.

That picture of Jupiter looks like just that: a photograph. If you showed someone this they wouldn't be able to tell it was in-engine. Incredible work. When the Steam beta comes out I'm gonna politely ask you to shut up and take all of my money.

Well, ask politely to leave some behind to upgrade hardware.  I think we all will be doing that pretty frequently lol.

Nah. Got two 980Tis in SLI.

Suggestion: Have an option for "Display more options" that allows for MORE CUSTOMIZABILITY

thanks, and done, though I posted it here originally because I thought it was kinda relevant (there was a mild debate about too many knobs and not enough knobs in SE)

It's been over half a  year since 0.9.8.0 released, when can we get 0.9.8.1 then?

There is no deadline for SE versions. It will be ready when it will be ready.

This time new features and GUI adjustments will make it quite a step, so it's got to be carefully prepped before release.

In regards to development times, I hate sounding pressure-y, but if the game is going to release in Steam, presumably in Early Access, the team/author should be aware that Steam EA games that do not update often are VERY frowned upon, so I don't know if there are plans to release more often or speed up the pace of development somehow, but it's just something to keep in mind for when SE is released in the wild.

I also made a small trick to reduce aliasing of a star surface textures (suppressing the granulation on the upper LOD levels). Screenshots shows TRAPPIST-1 before and after.
