Just curious, what could delay the steam release?
Any number of unforeseeable things, as always.

Hard to believe that 0.9.8.0 came out almost 3 years ago!

I see that the steam system requirements are more accurate now. Now it won't discourage people that don't have a vr ready computer from playing.

So we know Steam's policy. In this way, SE will be available on Steam on June 10, 2019 (UTC).
No, that does not determine the release date, it only determines the earliest possible release date, as mentioned in the blog post. It could be released later than June 10, but not sooner.
Thanks, so we should just save the link you posted earlier and keep refreshing it to see when SE can be bought?  Or will a new store link be published from where SE can be bought directly on or after June 10th?

The link we shared will always be the link you use, otherwise there would have been no point in sharing it in the first place. There is no need to keep refreshing it, we will announce when the release date will be.

Thanks I'll wait for the post June 10th announcement :)  Can you make an educated guess if it will most likely (90% likelihood) be at some point in the month of June?

I'll give you an educated guess: It will most likely be released before this decade is out. To coincide with the 50th anniversary of the 1st manned moon landing. Can you guess the date? - it is not too far out ;)

For the steam release, will there be integrated bug reporting, or something else, since if updates are going to be released regularly?

There's a "Troubleshooting and bug reports" topic in the discussion page of the steam shop. Main topics of this same forum have their equivalent topics in the Steam discussion page.

Ah, that works too. I just look back to programs and games like subnatutica and US2 who use integrated bug reporting.
