It would be interesting to see an ALBANIAN translation........
You can try it yourself to create a translation. I have attached a language .cfg file based on English-Russian. You just have to translate the Russian strings into Albanian. (They may not be readable in your editor.)
But you probably need Win1250 as a font. At the beginning of the file: FontConfig    "win1250.cfg".

Name the file alb-gui.cfg and post it here.
But this language file only works from SE 0.990!

Confession: I don't know Albanian well but have long been fascinated by it. Would use of Google Translate (which includes Albanian) be considered valid?

You could try, but I'm afraid Google translations are good enough for a rough draft at most, considering that many terms have scientific or pseudo-scientific nature. So don't expect fine results.

Better to ask a native speaker to make a translation. He also must know SE very well, to not make principal mistakes. A strict requirements :)

Did you every tried an app with weird translations? I do! Those are apps translated with Google Translate, it is very good at translating words but not as good as translating syntax. I wouldn't keep using SpaceEngine with such a translation, it would look like something badly made even if it's not.  :)

I am a professional translator of English to Brazilian Portuguese in the medical & pharmaceutical field. I would love to help with the PT-BR localization. While I'm a science & space enthusiast and pretty decent at chemistry and physics, I'm not an astronomer. But I would be willing to buy a specialized astronomy dictionary just for this!

You already got some replies, but I will try to help you too!
First, you can translate SE with Google Translator, but as Mosfet said, don't expect good results. You can try to translate just basic words from English or any language you want from localization file to Albanian. If you don't find any Albanian words for some scientific use, then try to research on internet about those! There are many principles that Space Engine use that you need to know to be sure what you translate. Not everything, but just an idea. :)

There is new planet classification for SE coming for 0.990 that is way different than what we currently have. Be sure to check those out and see if you can pick the best words for it. And trust me, as a native speaker and a translator, it's still hard to pick the best words so that it can make the best sense in all aspects.

I totally agree with this. You need to find a native speaker of Albanian language since, of course, google translator isn't enough! If you can't find any, and still want to translate, then I suggest you to learn and research it a bit more. Oh, and you can also try to find help from this forum's translators so that if you are stuck at something, we can help you!
It's so nice to see somebody trying to help for a language he is not even a native speaker to it! Good luck!

Hello. I am the Catalan translator. I just registered in the new forum because the last time I came here it didn't exist. In the old forum I was Hasforjs97 but I do not use that name anymore.
Sorry for being so late, I am dealing with severe depression right now so I do not know when I will be able to show myself around here.

A'kast,
this is the Catalan language file in the new SE 0.990 format.
cat-gui.cfg
(71.03 KiB) Downloaded 569 times
I have added the new strings and the obsolete strings removed.
The new strings are from version SE 0.990 build 10. There may be a newer beta version, but this I do not know.

Thanks for giving me a more updated file. I have already translated the remaining lines, but I haven't been able to find how to attach the file in my reply. Also, I have read something in this thread about a tutorial which had to be translated as well. Does anybody know if I can get the file so I can start working on it?

A'kast,
these are the tutorials that came with 'SE 0.990 Build 10'.
eng-tut 0990.zip
(20.25 KiB) Downloaded 525 times
But they are not up to date. First of all, the second line in each file would have to be changed. 'CheckVersion 981' must be 'CheckVersion 990'.
In addition, some parameters have changed so that the tutorials no longer work properly.
The strings themselves can of course already be changed. It may be less work to update it later.

I have already made some changes so the tutorials will work. But that does not mean that they coincide with the actual development of SpaceEngine.

I don't recommend to translate tutorials right now. They will be updated and appended closer to the release date. Then I decide what they are "perfect", I will upload the latest version and say "go on, translate them!" :)

What about credit files? They need to be updated too since new translations are going to be in the next release. I didn't even translate credit files. Or they are already updated? And I couldn't find English credit file, so if somebody can send it here, I would appreciate it!
