Nah, ray tracing is waaay to resource intensive, Harbinger himself said so. Space Engine will use environment mapping instead. The release date won't be confirmed in a while as bugfixes and steam review are continuing.

Inaccurate, it will release at the same time as Half-Life 3.

Sorry for this comment I am about to make, I just got back into space engine and I see 0.990 is going to come out. I know it will be on steam, but will it cost any money and if so, how much?

It is going to cost money, but there is no word on how much yet, that'll come once the game passes the Steam Team's review.

So the debugging of the program is done and we just need to wait for the review now?  How long do those take?  Depending on that we could have the new SE by next week!

Ah sorry, I thought he was implying that the game was being reviewed already.

Also, has the price been set at $20 or was that just a recommendation?
