For some reason the BBCode isn't working correctly, if you're too lazy to copy paste the link, here you go:

did you disable atmosphere and clouds from the panel on the right, perhaps?

If you want to install SpaceEngine 0.980_e, you must first install SE 0.980
Then you can extract SE 0.980_e into the SpaceEngine folder. SE 0.980_e is just a patch!

Post your se.log. It is located in the system folder of your SpaceEngine installation. Since you can not yet make any attachments here (you need at least 10 posts), you can use pastebin.com and post the link here.

blane1257, you could try to update your video driver. But your graphics card is so old that there is no completely new driver.

As far as i know, it's up to date. I'll do a double check tomorrow prob. I really just need a new graphics card more than anything.

I think you do. I looked up the specs and couldn't believe how slow it is and shocked as it's slow as a mid range cards from 2003 but made in 2010?

I have a AGP card from 2003 that's almost 2.5 x as fast.

I think you have 2 problems, its way too slow and the other is being a super low end card it would lack many of the features needed to render anything this modern.

I flew down and landed on the surface of a planet I found, and maybe five minutes after I'd landed, the ship model disappeared while I was controlling it. I spawned another Skylone, thinking that this would solve the issue, but it vanished seconds after I took control of it, too. The ship's still there, but for some reason it's invisible.

I don't know how to post a picture directly either, so here's a small Imgur album of the issue:

It's a known issue with some planets. Don't know all of the details (what type of planet, or atmosphere, etc., that causes it), but if you fly it back up above a certain altitude the ship will reappear.
