Troubleshooting and bug reports - SpaceEngine 0.990

Hello! I had a problem with SpaceEngine: the water on the planet had textured seams. Is that why I turned on texture compression? This did not occur in 0.9.8.0e.

Here are my screenshot and log file:

Program loads and then immediately crashes - can't seem to solve problem.
There are new drivers for your graphic card, you can try and update:

Troubleshooting and bug reports - SpaceEngine 0.990

I launch Space Engine, and the planet does not have its rings anymore. It can only have rings under a certain limit of parameters.
Top right planet is from your script, placed as it is around Tau Ceti (it could be different from yours since it's not the same star). The script is placed under \addons\catalogs\planets\. Is it the same?
Bottom left is the same planet, with some ring parameters changed with the planet editor, then exported. For what I can see the results are consistent with my changes.

Since there has been a program update, take a look again and see if something changed.

P.S: You can use https://pastebin.com/ to post your scripts until you'll have permissions to attach files.

Don't know if this belongs in here, but when exporting a cube map with the PRO DLC the clouds of the galaxy get blurry as they get refreshed each time you click on export. I haven't found a way to keep them sharp, which is really annoying.

Troubleshooting and bug reports - SpaceEngine 0.990

Hi all,

There seems to be issues with a couple of the functions not working at all, specifically half of the time functions. :

- Reverse Time
- Reset Time
- Manual Time entry into the time display field.

Other time functions such speeding up / slowing down / resetting time scale are working fine.

The things that I have tried to no avail is remapping & resetting to default the key-activated functions, as well as updating Steam and the video card drivers. When mapping a different, working function to these same keys (e.g. mapping a working function to 'J' or 'CTRL'+'\' ), the functions work as per usual which would suggest that the keyboard and its drivers are okay.

All functions are still working fine as always in pre-Steam versions. I am using Windows 7 with a wireless Microsoft Keyboard 800.

Thanking in advance for any insight / fix.

Troubleshooting and bug reports - SpaceEngine 0.990

My friend encountered a bug while playing SpaceEngine. His black hole and accretion disk are not displayed on the screen, but jet is here. My friend really wants to see black holes. Hardware products can be seen in the log file, he has upgraded the graphics card driver to the latest version, and has verified the integrity of the game file.

Thank you for your hard work. I believe SpaceEngine will do better!

I can't set LandLOD to higher than 1, when I try to do it with the console it tells me the value is restricted between -1 and 1. Anyone knows how can I solve this?

The 0.990 modification of the planetary geomorphology system now has a maximum value of 1, but its effect is much better than the 0.9.8.0 value of 2 (console set landlod 2).

Thank you for looking into this, Mosfet - I really appreciate the help

Nvidia's GeForce Experience app tells me that my card does have the most current drivers. Their website says that the driver you linked is the most recent one, but when I try to install it, the install fails and I get an error message saying that the driver from the website isn't compatible with my hardware.

I performed a clean install of Windows this afternoon, made sure it was fully updated, re-downloaded drivers and Steam and Space Engine, and confirmed that the results are still the same. SE file from the most recent crash is here:

Is there anything else that might be the culprit?
