Teleporting spacecraft

24 Sep 2017 12:33

I was playing around in Space Engine, exploring Saturn and its rings, when I must have clicked the wrong thing and I found myself on the Sun's surface. So, how did this happen, and how can I do it to teleport myself back to Saturn?
Space is very spacious.

one of possibilities is that you hit the combination Ctrl+H, selecting the Sun, then Ctrl+G, Going to the center of selected object.
Hitting BackSpace then G should move you back to the previous visited object.

Teleporting spacecraft

I tried that, and instead of teleporting the ship there, the ship tried to warp. And it seems that Space Engine warp drives only work by amplifying velocity, which I couldn't get any of on the surface of the Sun. Anyways, I just deleted the spaceship, but it would still be nice to know how it happened so I can avoid it.
