As far as I know, SpaceEngineer does not take new developers. He certainly cannot pay them. There is not enough support to even pay himself (need $1000/month support).

Hover your mouse over to the left side to see the vertical menu appear, click the magnifying lense button and enter the location in the pop-up menu, in the top blank spot, just as you see it. Some locations are from different versions people still use and will not appear if you have a different version than theirs.

You can't yet, it's a limitation similar to that one explained in the Forum rules page.

How would I lower the probability of the generation of Venus-like planets (planets with ~400C greenhouse temperatures)?

In the 'main-user.cfg' there is a parameter 'ProbCloudsVenus', in the section 'PlanetGenerator'. You can set the value lower. Maybe that will somehow affect the temperature and greenhouse effect. I can not test it right now.

Otherwise, there is probably no possibility.

General questions about SpaceEngine

13 Mar 2018 03:53

I am experimenting with using Space Engine to demonstrate various astronomical concepts and I've been using the scripting system to control the camera movements. It works okay (although I would like the new scenario scripting system in 990) but there is one issue I can't seem to solve.

I can control the camera movements using the basic commands (select, center, goto, landto, etc) but I can't change the orientation of the camera. There does not seem to be any way to rotate the view or align the view with anything.

Is there a command I've not found? Or is there just no way to do this from a script file?

Why is the old Space Engine website full of trojans and an popup with sexual stuff
Someone else noted something similar some time ago, only with hentai anime content. Since this enticed my curiosity from a professional point of view I did check for such things then, with no results.
What I did noticed, though, by looking at the code, is that the old website provider (ucoz.net) is apparently affiliated with advertising providers using advanced adaptive profiling software, seemingly guessing surfing habits even without cookie technology, according their marketing sources. I don't remember anymore the company's name, sorry.
It could be a prudent move to clear the cache, history, cookies of all browsers, check the computer with specific adware removers (adwcleaner from MalwareBytes is a good one), do a full scan with an antivirus (possibly not cracked, they're notoriously flawed). As a general rule, avoiding use of warez and porn sites does help.

In fact, they don't. There are countless black holes without accretion disk, or with a smaller accretion disk.
But if you're asking why accretion disks are represented with that color or shape, well mathematical simulations of what we could see nearing a black hole predict that possible shape. SpaceEngine can't really simulate actual luminosity for hardware/software limitations, because those objects should emit blindingly light, which for human beings should translate with a literally painful white color.
