keep asking this question too many times and you will be rebuked by the moderator(s).

I saw it, I didn't want to get involved in the subject, I suppose it will be a novatillo managing forums and if not, he has made a mistake, but come on, I don't care, they close my account, because I believe another one, they block my ip, I do it from another device, I stop giving them coverage in post, forums, channels, social networks etc..
Let's just not make a big deal out of this, peace.
We are in our right, it goes with education, with solid arguments of why etc; and more so when they are telling us to donate our own money xd.
That's a crazy reaction, really.

As a rule of thumb, moderators job is not to set forums on fire, just ensure that all users follow Forum rules. Those same rules apply to moderators, of course, and they suggest specific actions in case of doubtful moderation behavior.

I am not a moderator but that is what I have come to understand from people's reactions in previous occasions. No one is making a big fuss about this except those who misinterpret posts..

General questions about SpaceEngine

As for your question, Nebulax, I see nobody directly answered to you, despite you asked about it many times.
I don't have an answer, but I guess that if SpaceEngineer or someone else from staff would have known the answer, such date would have been announced already, don't you think?

Why do Barycenters have a mass and radius when Space Engine doesn't compute gravity?

I agree, although most users do not ask for an exact date of such a day.
More like a phrase like "expected next year" or "before 2018".

General questions about SpaceEngine

Release is expected this year on Steam. I can't give the exact date, because developing the app is not like building a road. Then you build a road, you may measure your average speed, say 1 mile per day, then divide the remaining distance onto this speed and obtain number of days left. Developing app is not a linear process, so no extrapolation can be used. I don't know how much time it will take for, say, implementing procedural generation of raymarched nebulae, which new problems will arise, and how much time it will take to solve them.

Still gonna release it on this website and not require steam?

Is that were your at? If so, then im excited to see those nebulas get ray marched.

General questions about SpaceEngine

So I've been following SE for a while now and I finally learned how to edit stars and planets in the script. However I've come across an issue. Even though I've managed to make a star in the engine I can't seem to move it. I've tried using the script typed up in the manual but the star "Mono" does not appear.

Script for star I'd like to move:
► Show Spoiler
Script suggested by manual:
► Show Spoiler
I'm using WordPad to edit the scripts. Am I simply not copying the script properly?

You can not use a procedural star - like "RS 8474-1357-7-842714-370" - as ParentBody.
Unless you have previously exported this star and saved it under this name.

I have. I exported it, renamed it, and opened it back up to discover it has been placed randomly. There doesn't appear to be a method of editing the location of procedural star scrips. At least, I'm not capable of discerning it. I'm merely trying to determine what I'm doing wrong with the suggested script.

You need to create a StarBarycenter for the system. For example:
StarBarycenter "RS 8474-1357-7-842714-370 BC"
{
    RA 16.2156 // Random value
    Dec -21,378 // Random value
    Dist 243.52 // Random value
}
This script belongs in the folder 'addons\catalogs\stars' !

Then you have to change the 'ParentBody' to "RS 8474-1357-7-842714-370 BC" for your exported star.
This script belongs in 'addons\catalogs\planets'.

( The 'addons\catalogs\stars' folder usually contains only such short scripts with the star's position. It is possible to add some extra parameters to the script, for example 'Class' or 'AbsMagn', and it is possible to create a 'Star' instead of a 'StarBarycenter' there.
For example:
Star "Name of the Star"
{
    RA 16.2156 // Random value
    Dec -21,378 // Random value
    Dist  352.24 // Random value

    Class "G2"
    AppMagn 12.5
}
)

But the best is, you put the actual star in the 'addons\catalogs\planets' folder.

Whilst controlling a spacecraft and after selecting a target, is it possible to reset target to none somehow? Thanks in advance for any suggestion.
