Same. 4GB graphics memory, but only 1GB dedicated video...
What do you mean by that? 4GB on the GPU and 1GB of that for video? I for me must say, don't know much about GPUs. Played once a little with the GPU settings for different games in the driver settings, thats it. I have an old Radeon HD5770 (1GB) which was already aged when I bought it back in 2011.
I currently have a laptop with only ~60 MB of dedicated VRAM, and can only barly run SE. However I have an RX 480 shipping to me now, 4GB version, which will go into a desktop system I am working on, so I put down 4GB. (Hoping everything will go well with the build).
Mine has 4GB, a gtx 980 , I plan to upgrade to a radeon 7 since they are a fraction cheaper than the 2080 here and has double the vram. When playing SE my 980 shows usage at 4GB nearly always but I do run max setting plus a manual LOD setting of 1.5. It crashes above LOD 1.8 from lack of vram.
16GB should give me plenty of headroom. I want to try run 0.990 when it comes out without compression assuming that will be an option.
