Can we have a notification on the side of chat displaying the amount of online players currently chatting?

This way to attract people into the chat knowing there someone's there.

edit: It would also be nice to get a notification from the browser when someone types in the chat.

Have spambots been posting lately? I keep getting notifications about posts that no longer exist, and every now and then I see posts containing suspicious links and/or text that makes no sense.
I like cute pokemon and space games.

when I try to go to the website or to the forum of SpaceEngine.

Have you problems with the servers?

For some reason, everytime I post, even tho I am logged in, it always delete my texts and asks for a log-in, erasing hours of my life.

... and to me. It affects both the forum and the site.

Today I got a different error, though, which was a first: a mysql error, affecting only the forum.

I happened to me as well long ago, with other websites as well. Then I found out my PC was crammed full of viruses.

The amount of spam in the forum seems to be increasing.  Is it possible to restrict new users from posting the first week, or even better go through some captcha test for the first few posts?

I agree with the second proposal if there is a way to implement it. The first one would seem to disuade new members.

I have also a question about the rising amount of spam. Many of the last messages have been from different users, and specifically 3 of them have posted the same message: удалите,пожалуйста!, Translated as Delete, Please.

Why? Are they probing the forum defenses or something similar?

If you look at the message closely, you'll see it contains a link to a website, so their goal is probably to multiply external references to that website in order to better positioning in search engines.
It seems also an indication that the captcha used for registration is ineffective with recent spambots.

There are restrictions on new users for their first ten posts. Not being able to edit your post until you have made 10 posts seems a little... well, less than useful, and then seems to force some legitimate new users to spam 10 quick posts just so they can edit their posts.

Blocking new users from posting any links seems to me to be a much more useful limitation.
