Yes, you need two more posts to be able to make your own threads.

In the general suggestions section of the forum, the first post should include a list of all the frequently suggested additions, as well as a large and noticeable prompt for users to read the list before posting their own suggestions. Hopefully this could help reduce the amount of similar suggestions being reposted. However, users should be allowed to suggest one of those frequently suggested things if they bring something new to the table (ie. a way of actually implementing it, or more specific details on how it could work)

There's already a thread for displaying common suggestions.  :)

I think this thread is for suggestions about SpaceEngine.

What SCtester means are suggestions for the website. And this thread is exactly the right thing for this.

We are already talking in the webside suggestions thread, no need to link to it  ;)

I can't start threads. There's no button to post new threads that I can see in any forums. Is it because I'm new?
Yes, we avoid spammers asking for 10 post before been allowed to make any new thread.

I have one question: Does anyone can access the old forum??? When we are going to have the opportunity to read old threads? I'm trying to find two or three that were in fact spectacular articles not only simple posts. Like those physics explanations made by Watsisname for example.

I noticed that the search engine is ignoring certain words. Is there any way to make it NOT ignore those words? Here's some that I can't search for:

the
engine
great

Why is it ignoring "great"? I see why it would ignore "engine", as that's part of "Space Engine", and "the" is found in almost every single English sentence. I had a hard time searching for an addon as a result of the site ignoring "great" when searching for "The Great Battle":

http://forum.spaceengine.org/search.php ... eat+battle

An even worse example:

http://forum.spaceengine.org/search.php ... e+universe

It only found posts that had the word "battle", and ignored all the other words in the query. I know "Universe" is a common word, especially on a site about space, but it shouldn't be completely ignored.

Is there any way to view the search engine's ignore list? I want to look at it and see which words are ignored.

I've discovered that when logging into the site on my mobile (android, chrome), it takes me to a page that says

INFORMATION

You have been permenantly banned from this board.

Please contact the Board Administrator for more information.

A ban has been issued on your IP address.
Even if I took a screenshot, that is all you will find it says, no other text or images other than the background.
Obviously what it says is not the case because I'm able to access it on my laptop here under the same IP.

Do you have a dynamic IP? If so, then that's what causing it. You may have temporarily shared the IP of a known spammer or other banned user.

Nobody have this problem in mobile,
I can just write text (else bold, italic, underline, youtube, img, list, code, quote) and can't edit the source code of the post (I don't see the button we can see in PC).
Here a test and BBCode is enable.

I use Firefox on mobile.

I think it needs buttons like "delete" and "edit", also liking someone's post would be fine IMO.
