For me Procedural Submoons would be a great idea

Have you tried creating a virtual machine running Windows?

Is it possible to add ambient / environmental sounds to planets? Like wind or water sounds. Ones with enough atmosphere obviously.

It would greatly help with immersion to hear the wind and waves of some distant shore on an alien planet.

VIA: Search menu.
Objects can be filtered by distance, mass, diameter, luminosity, velocity, ect.
Individual objects can have their own filters.
Stars can be filtered by main-sequence, dwarf, nova remnants, etc.
Planets can be filtered by terra, tundra, desert, ocean, gas-giant, etc.
Galaxies can be filtered by SBa, SBb, SBc, SB0, S0, Sa, Sb, Sc, E0-7, Irr, etc.

Please add an option to use higher quality bloom.
The current bloom has very blocky banding atrifacts.
The sample rate calculating bloom seems unnessesary low as bloom is not a costly feature.

Thank you for this outstanding piece of software!

Can you add a volumetric cloud system? Or real-time dynamic simulation of 2D clouds?

I was thinking it would be nice if new modules could be added to ships, stations and specially bases, directly in game, in the edit menu. Perhaps with a button that opens a sub-menu with the list of available .cfg files. Would make it easy to create new modular content...
but I suspect it wouldn't be a quick and easy addition :-(

I would love to have a mechanism for marking a list of objects, akin to an observing list in Sky Safari.  For example, I am wanting to see the relative position of several X-ray binaries with respect to Earth and the Milky Way.  I can see any one of them at a time: F3, type in the name, and then I see that one.  But I can't mark all three at once and see their relative position.   Even a simple "x marks the spot" would do though ideally, I'd like to have the short list of objects labeled.

This would be especially useful in educational settings.  For example, one could mark all the stars in a constellation, and then fly around the constellation and show how the stars could be at vastly different distances.

We'll be able to see in Space Engine Ocean's underworlds? with vegetation and al stuff? Will be procedural 3d vegetation on the simiulator? I know the procedural galaxies are in progress, but I'm focused in the small but important things, we'll able to see thunders? I'm very curious

I saw on Steam that you're planning volumetric accretion discs. Got me thinking. Would it be possible for stars inside nebulae to light up the surrounding gas? Kinda like in this video, at 3:48 there is a small clip of a nebula with some gorgeous lighting caused by embedded stars.

Hmuda, I believe that SpaceEnginner was trying to implement that kind of thing while developing 0.990 (then known as 0.981), but scrapped it. I'll try look for a picture.

It looks pretty final, but I think SpaceEngineer had problems aligning the glows with the actual stars. It's still in the game, but it's disabled by default.
