It would be most helpful if in SE I could select a destination, key in the required speed/velocity and then just hit go!
Is this something that could be incorporated  in soon?

Do you mean a way to set up speed or flight duration for the 'go to' command?
The problem is that it does not has a 'speed', it accelerates exponentially at departure and then decelerates in the same way at arrival. The only parameters which can be controlled is a flight duration and 'exponent power' of that acceleration.

Yes with the "Go to" function, but also with normal flight mode as well (ala Spaceship and Aircraft modes). The videos that I am starting to put together (well more live streams) are flights between various points and destinations, however I am also using the general scale and size as well and require the ability to be able to set speed/duration of flight, for example a 30 minute flight from Earth to Jupiter or a flight from the Orion Nebula to the Eagle Nebula at a chosen speed of 1.5 ly/s.

Here is the latest stream that I have done by way of example

Hope this is in the right place, but it would be most helpful if the "grid" corresponded to declination and right ascension. I'm not too familiar with everything, but it seems to be flipped upside down in SE :/

Yes, this is how we find objects in space- I was hoping for a RA/DEC grid too.
On a more galactic or supergalactic scale there are other, let's say more cosmic grids we can use for space navigation that I would also like to see in the program one day.

It is a RA/Dec grid, the bug is solved for the next version.
