The Space Engine Trailer

21 Dec 2016 19:58

Hi!

As you people might know, I've been doing Space Engine Videos for quite some time. I'm currently working on a more appropriate Trailer for the Engine, having more focus on what the engine is capable of in an Informative way.
The video below is a concept / preview trailer. Footage is still placeholder and its there to get the idea of how the presentation will be.

Music choice is still on hold, but I'll be using songs from the music folder.

I'll like suggestions on what other type of footage is essential for the Trailer.
Things like the editor, the star browser, spaceship's controls, etc.

Thanks to SpaceEngineer showing off the new recording feature for the engine, the video will be put on a longer hold. Lets just say I'll have to wait for the new version. That feature eases up tons and tons of work I did for this, so its better for me, and for the main point of the trailer, to start again with said feature.

DenZ, it's really beautiful! Pay attention to syntax, like "Universe simulator" or "Shining skys skies"

DenZ, English is not your first language is it?

This is an international community and a lot of members did not have English as their first language.  There is a polite/constructive way to point out or correct grammar and spelling, and a rude/nonconstructive way.  Mosfet's post demonstrates the former.  You just demonstrated the latter.

You have also been warned to cut it out with this sort of unnecessary posting behavior.  So this time you'll be taking time off.

Chill out, he just made a simple point, I bet he wasn't trying to offend DenZ, just a simple mistake.

I am calm. Whether he intended to come across that way or not, it is usually considered quite rude, and in forum history the same style of comment has been called out and reported by multiple people.  If that's all there was to it I'd leave a warning, but it also followed "the same point" made almost a month earlier in a more appropriate manner.  So the post was totally nonconstructive and unnecessary, and he had already been warned about this sort of thing.

If there are more comments or concerns they should be brought to PMs.
