Exoplanet "HD 131399 A b", present in the SE cataog, was today announced to be a background star with an unusually high proper motion, so it should be removed.

https://arxiv.org/abs/1705.06851
If that object is not on same HD 131399 star system then would be different name. We need look for a name of this star because the star is not on same HD 131399 star system. I checked the website star spectral is Red dwarf or Orange dwarf

Well surely when the change of designation will be officially acknowledged the name will be notified, being such a peculiar dwarf.

I need to upgrade my exoplanet tool to allow processing the list of false positives. Otherwise the only way to remove them from the SE catalogs is manual.

Speaking of that, "Alpha Centauri B b" was also said to be a false-positive.

Hey I did discoverer some problem with my SE, I wonder do you have this too? The search window where you can type the object names shows wrong parent for some moons of Saturn and Neptune while I was searching with "Saturn" or "Neptune". The orbits of these moons however were not wrong. And when searching for them with their non number names Aegir and Pandora the parent was displayed right. Does this bug have something to do with an exoplanet AEgir and asteroid Pandora? These are correctly separate objects in SE but the search window is bugged.

I also had a problem trying to select star Asterope from SE object search window. It will select the asteroid Asterope instead. The Star and asteroid are correctly separate objects in SE but for some reason the search window is bugged with this.

Is there any way to fix this?

These are the details of the Pistol Star as shown in SE:

Red luminous supergiant
Spectrum: M1 Ia
Diameter: 495
Mass: 150 solar masses
Luminosity: 0.5 (not a typo)
Temperature: 3,277 Celsius
Age: 841,571 years

And these are the details of the Pistol Star on Wikipedia:

Blue hypergiant
Spectrum: LBV
Diameter: 612
Mass: 27.5 solar masses
Luminosity: 1,600,000
Temperature: 11,526 Celsius
Age: 4 million years

It would appear there has been a mix-up.

These are the details of the Pistol Star as shown in SE:
The specification of 27.5 masses for the pistol star is probably wrong in the English Wikipedia.
The German Wikipedia and the Spanish Wikipedia give 150 masses.

SE does not know the spectral class 'LBV'.
But in SE 0.981 it is a 'Blue luminous supergiant' with a spectral class of 'B8 Ia', with a mass of 150 and a radius of 306.
The age and luminosity are not defined in the script. So this are only estimates of SE.

You sure they're using solar masses as a measure? Alas, Google gives the answer of 115.

Finally that star is now named Kepler-1650  also a new cool dwarf planet, Kepler-1650 b  It was originally HD 131399 Ab then now it's Kepler-1650

More info https://exoplanetarchive.ipac.caltech.edu/docs/exonews_archive.html#1June2017(Check the 1 June HD 131399 Ab has been removed)

I can't find Aegir (Saturn) in SE 0980, I guess it's not in its catalog.
Are you sure you're not referring to a beta build for 0981? Then it should be used the beta test thread to report an issue.

according to sources, mass estimates change with the evolutionary model applied to the star, 27.5 solar masses it's a value obtained by assuming a common model with other LBVs. As you can see the uncertainty is high.
This is also one of those cases where, since SE doesn't emulate light absorption by interstellar dust formations, we have to choose if we want real data vs realistic sky depiction.

It is about 0981 and I did post this on beta test thread too, but have not got any reply yet. Maybe SpaceEngineer did comment on this too but it also may had been about the issue with nebulae that another user did have. I am not sure.

Don't worry, even if you've got no replies there's a chance that the issue has been acknowledged and/or taken care somehow.

There are two Beta Cancri systems, one singular and theother double. I assume it was one of the binary stars fixed but someone forgot to remove the original depiction.

Moreover, there's a planet around the barycenter that should orbit the primary star of the pair.
