I forgot to ask you about doing a moon to see what eclipses look like when one of the different colored stars are behind the moon
Here is the planet with a moon.

There is a planet with nice looking rings and I felt it should be recreated.
Unfortunately that does not work very well. There is no planet shadow on the ring. And my artistic talent is not enough to make a reasonable ring.

Thank you so much, JD!  But I'm confused now, I also installed the planet add-on from your thread, should I delete that one and keep this or are they two different planets (one with a moon and one without?)

You have to delete the first file.

Thanks, Jack.  I have a question, do you remember the planet you've made that is in a system with the most stars?  Which one is that?  Also, in reality based on what has actually been discovered, which is the planet that has been found to be in a system with the most stars?

If you mean my system with 8 suns: the system is called Octa, the planet is called Dewin.
It is here:  http://forum.spaceengine.org/viewtopic. ... 084#p25084

No idea.

Wow Jack that is beautiful- is that a real system?  Also you said that it is in your home cluster, does that mean the cluster needs to be added also?

Looks nice though. How were the rings made?
With the amount of bizarre creatures on Earth, I doubt aliens would look like humans with skull deformations or skin conditions.

You do not need to download it. But it looks better.
JDV-Cluster (JDV 1) and 'Schleier Nebula' (JDV 2)
JDVClusterNebulae.pak
How were the rings made?
It's a flat asteroid.

Thank you, JD, that must be your magnum opus!  My only worry is that by adding it, like with the Nightfall system, the stars and planets in all clusters will be renumbered and renamed and my old favorites will disappear :(

As far as I know, clusters do not change the random seed. Only galaxies do that. And galaxies do not really do that either. They only change the numbering of the galaxies. These are the first 4 digits after the first letters. (RS RG and so on.)

Your addresses should therefore remain the same.

Thanks I will try it out, I really love the varied landscapes on it!  Do you have a planet-moon combo for the Castor six star system, JD? I haven't seen any for that system so far.

JackDole, I would love to see you terraform the entire solar system.
I knew I was an idiot in the past, I have toned down since then.

Someone already did an overly terraformed solar system.
We always need to add more boosters.
