Started working with the ships from this threadviewtopic.php?f=3&t=322
I can't really do much with the Juggernaut ship, I did adjust colors but I am not a fan of it. I will still include it with the Aliens pack.kipster
, was kind enough to give me permission to update some Aliens ships so for the past few hours I have been putting a lot of effort into improving the Sulaco
I have added engine effects, ship has no glow map so can't be bothered to add one. I redid the colors for the diffmaps through the SML file to give it a darker tone like the movie, I have also made a custom rusty metal specmap
I will work on the dropship next, then try my hand at improving the Narcissus and Nostromo ships I ported before but those only have 1 texture so I may have to go with a detail diffmap.
Have tried to work on the dropship but have some problems with it, center of model doesn't want to line up, it spawns in the wrong place, camera placement is broken. The model is also not that great so I may avoid this one for now.
Have got the Nostromo setup, haven't quite figured out how I will do the engine effects for it due to how complex they are.
As you can see from this image, the engines are ridiculous
