DoctorOfSpace's Mod Emporium v0.9.8.0

Star Trek Online Defiant and Odyssey from https://thomasmarrone.artstation.com/
► Show Spoiler
I can port any of the ships there currently, not quite sure if it would be allowed to share them however.

The released Enterprise D, JJprise, TOS Enterprise, NX, and NX refit by Wiley are superior to the models on that site.
[hr] Adjusted Odyssey to be closer in looks to the other Trek ships by adding detail to the textures and adjusting some of the colors.

DoctorOfSpace's Mod Emporium v0.9.8.0

That's some great work, bud!

I'd like to request the Daedelus class pre-TOS ship. I like its sticks-and-ball stylings.

And as for permissions, IIRC, Thomas Marrone is pretty responsive on Twitter, you might get an answer there - but I wouldn't hold out too much hope. Then again, Bioware were cool about the Mass Effect ships!

DoctorOfSpace's Mod Emporium v0.9.8.0

11 Apr 2017 07:41

Hi,
I've searched for Doctor of Space's magnificient Reshade file.
Here it is the original and here the Bambusman adaptation to Reshade 3 (the current version).
In the old forum some of you said it was functioning perfectly but then it went totally wrong for some people.
I've followed the instructions that appear here. But instead of doing it with SE 0.9.7.3 I'm trying to do it with SE 0.9.8.0 and instead of using the links in the video I'm using Bambusman Update of the Reshade Folder created by Doctor of Space. I'm unable of making this work apparently.

How can we use that amazing reshade file that DOS created in the last SE version? Is there a way to make this work properly?

FastFourierTransform,it works perfectly fine in 0.9.8.0 and 0.9.8.1.

Here is a Google drive link to one that works

Thank you Doctor of Space, but It didn't worked :(

Maybe it has to do with the fact I'm using a Intel card? SE 0.9.8.0 works perfectly fine in my computer but maybe reshade don't.
How you installed your reshade on SE?

Everything goes inside the system folder.  I don't think Intel GPUs are supported since they don't support the latest OpenGL.

LC Amaral. Guessing it came from Star Trek Bridge Commander? I loved that game. So many fantastic mod ships.

It wouldn't be up to Thomas. It would be up to the higher ups at Cryptic since technically they own the models.
He might be able to pass it along, but I find it unlikely they'll allow it. You never know though.

That is what I had figured and the answer in those cases is usually a no.
Just an FYI Doctor, the Odyssey 1066 Meters long.
I copied the stats from
http://memory-beta.wikia.com/wiki/Odyssey_class

They had it at 1062, difference of 4 meters isn't that much.

Is there no edit post button or am I blind?
Requires 10 posts on the forum, its dumb and I can't find how to fix it.

Hi
New to the Forum but not SE. A fantastic piece of work, and only gets better with the addons.
Got a bit of a challenge for you. Do you think you could create this fantastic looking space craft?
CG render of orig Iqueen.jpg
This is a CG render of the original artwork found the the TTA series of space craft illustrations from the late 70's
Would look awesome in SE.

Thanks

Oh BTW I can send you the detailed description from the book if that would help. From the book it is warp capable. The pod on the top at the rear is the warp generator, if I recall it correctly. If you haven't seen it around it is known as the Interstellar Queen.

Looks very weird, I've never seen anything like that. Interesting.
I'm not sure if there's a model of it on the web and, as far as I know, Doc is not a professional 3D modeler, so a quite hard challenge indeed.  :)
The universe is not required to be in perfect harmony with human ambition.

I can fix up a mesh mostly and do some basic stuff, but making a model entirely from scratch is a difficult time consuming task.
