DoctorOfSpace's Mod Emporium v0.9.8.0

[hr] I will be gone for the next couple weeks so I won't be able to finish up some of the addons I am still working on.  Will still check the forum from mobile while I am gone but I will be unable to update or release anymore mods.

Interstellar style accretion disks and black holes

I am adding this here as a bonus shader of sorts.

This is scientifically inaccurate and was asked for by someone who I can't remember.  It makes all accretion disks in the game look similar to the one in Interstellar.  This removes the doppler effect so the accretion disk is evenly lit, the sky will only grow in brightness but not shift blue, and the radius of accretion disks is smaller.

Shader is attached to this post, to use it rename it to blackhole.glsl and place in Data/Shaders

DoctorOfSpace, I love the thrust glow effect you used on Serenity.
Some time ago I tinkered with your old version and I added ion thrusts, changed light emissions. I took your update and made a patch, I hope you like it.

DoctorOfSpace's Mod Emporium v0.9.8.0

Updated Interstellar addon to fix a slight bug with an engine effect on the Lander.

I love the thrust glow effect you used on Serenity.
If you mean the engine effects, that tends to be the color setup I use for many of the ships I port as I think it looks nice.

I appreciate that, only change I would make is the color on the thrusters to a white/grey color but other than that it looks good.  Might look better to make the bottom hover thrusters a yellow orange as well.

Did some color tweaks, is this to your liking?

Slight adjustment to the retro engines, adjusted the glow effect a bit

Since these are your edits would you mind if I added it to the download?

I didn't really took into account the impact of colors, the tweaks you did are awesome. By all means, I can't wait to fly this thing, please :)

Hey Doctor! It seems I can't reply to PMs yet, since I'm a bit unactive here in the new forums, so I'll reply here!

Anyway, I'm not particulary good with 3D models, but I'll take a look at the Prometheus and see if I can help!

...something's wrong with the Prometheus. Whenever it is in my FOV close enough to be resolved, SE crashes.

I hope mt SE.log can help. I noticed it ends right as the BC-303's textures are loading...

XBrain130, there is a bug in 0.9.8.0 where it crashes often from DetailDiffMap.  I don't think there is much I can do about it, but the next SE patch fixes this issue.

Oh,okay, thanks for telling me. Guess I'll have to wait a little more to try it.

Do you have other Stargate models to work on next? I found a large pack of low quality SG ships the other day. I tried to fix them by myself but it seems I'm not able to do anything useful.
