Neptune 16K

03 Nov 2020 14:19

Hi, hope you're fine guys!

I'm doing a 16kx8k map of neptune, based on the latest images from the planet taken by Hubble telescope.

I'm open to suggestions. ♥

Here's a little comparison with the real image from 2014-2017 to my recreation, it haves some clouds mismatches in their locations, but it will be fixed.

Here we can see Galatea orbiting Neptune and his rings.

I added another spot close in one of the poles, just in order to not make the planet look alone or with just 1 "great spot"

This is other image of Neptune from Hubble, it's something that is also added to the map, but I need to add more clouds.

You can also notice that the atmosphere in this image looks different in the first image

I was doing another version of Neptune too, but this one was based on Snowfall's work:

Looks nice, maybe tone down the contrast on the light and dark bands in the first one as Neptune's bands are less visible in the Voyager 2 images and even the Hubble image.
