PAK 4 - Modular stations

- 8 modular Stations (with reflections for 0.990, but no PBR)

Every module is imported individually, so you can create your own stations adding modules in a .sss file.
I'm working on an automated exporter for blender, but is a hard job and my time is limited.

PAK 3 - Modular interplanetary ships

- 18 ships with various purposes
- 1 mini shuttle
- 1 mini cargo

Every module is imported individually, so you can create your own ships adding modules in a .sss file.
I'm working on an automated exporter for blender, but is a hard job and my time is limited.
For the future I want to import also the station modules and create ground modules.

EVE online mod __updated for 0.98__
!!! Eve online shaders don't use anymore diffuse textures, so not all the models have the original textures !!!



NEW PACK - ALL AMARR SHIPS WITH MULTIPLE TEXTURE

I prepared a pack with all the amarr ships. Textures are not the originals, but diffuse texture rebuilt from the new EVE shader system.
Before you ask me, I immediately say that I will not do the same work for the other races of EVE, it's a job too long I don't want to do :-D
If someone wanted to do it I could prepare tutorials to explain how to do after the holidays.
I intend instead to prepare other packs with the ships that I like the most and the amarr and gallente stations, plus some others...

No engine effects have been added to the ships and some may have cameras in the wrong positions. over time I think to correct these inaccuracies, but if you wanted to do it I would be happy :-)

I recommend to set in user.cfg
ClipHeight 2.000000000000000e-003    // collision detection height in kilometers
ClipZNear 5.000000000000000e-004    // near plane clip distance (ignored in logarithmic z buffer mode)

It should not serve, but always do a backup!!

I like your mods, but I can't try them because of these 3 reasons:
I don't know where to put your addons in the addons folder,
I don't know how to pilot the spaceships in SE,
I don't have these 2 buttons with a text like this in the main menu: Single Player, Multiplayer, or can I pilot them in Planetarium?

The X-Universe games are my favorite games, I've been playing with Terran Conflict for years, I'm so happy you imported some of its ships!

Do you think you could try to add more ships? Especially Terran ones! I would be very thankful for that!

exporting obj files from x3 require 3d studio in an old version (2012 if I remember well, most recents versions don't work well), so, after expiry of the demo version that I had managed to get, I had to stop :-/

in future, if i could find a working 3ds version i'll add some new models...

This site says it sells a model converter, and according to the changelog on the history page they added support for X3's engine this December. Do you think you can use that instead?

well I don't know this software, but if I read in right way the table of formats on your site this software permits to load texture but not to save...
anyway, forgive me but i don't want to spend 40 euro for importing some 3d models from x3... i love the game but not so much :-D

Have you considered trying to add your modular stuff to the editor?  It might give some interesting results.

it's possible? this models have many materials with different colors and no texture... in editor I've seen only models with a single material with texture...
I could change the materials of my models and create a texture (or try to fit with the already existing texture), but it would be a long process...

I take it the transparency for the gallente stations is a hard job?
No it isn't, but Space Engine support only complete transparence, it would seem only like a hole, i preferred something like a solid shield... for other stations i preferred instead a solution with light...
