JackDole's Universe 0.990

How are the ones on this page different from the ones you made earlier?
I have made 'Terra' planets with life from them.
Also what is the difference between the Goblin here and the earlier one (which I also reinstalled).
The orbital data is a bit more up to date.
should I delete your shaders from 099
Actually, it can not hurt to keep the shaders because they should have an older date than the new ones. For safety's sake, I would still remove them.
Also how do I go to certain coordinates in SE in the new version?
You can enter in the console:
Select "Earth"
Goto {Lat -29.9 Lon -71.25 HeightKm 1000}

Addon to the World Ship Addon  :D

I made two additional 'Control' planets, at the 'poles', where the rings cross.

Put the script in 'addons\catalogs\planets'.

JD, I am getting a weird error when I press the tilde key ` to get into the console?  Does 0990 have a different entry point to get into the console?
For the rest, I did as you advised, kept the old shaders with 0980e and added the new planets!

edit- that was good advice to delete the old shaders!  They kept me from getting into the console- once I deleted them from 0990 the console started working :)

Also, I see that you have a pair of brown dwarfs in this thread, are the WISE stars not included by default in SE?  I shall add them but wanted to make sure they already weren't in 0990 first.  They dont have any planets do they?

edit- I searched for it and see that it is already in 0990? Or is your version different, and if so in what way?

The ` is not the tilde! This is the tilde ~!

The 'Wise' addon was a fix for an incorrect entry in SpaceEngine. It is no longer necessary in the latest beta version, as this bug has apparently been corrected in SpaceEngine.

Thanks JD, and the console problem is now fixed because I deleted the old customized shaders lol.  When I had them installed, trying to go to the console would kick me back out to the SE start up menu!

The accent mark thing and the tilde thing seem to be the same key, I dont ever use either except for SE (which makes it easier to remember!)

I wanted to play around and I went to Mt Everest's coordinates.

 Mount Everest/Coordinates

27.9881° N, 86.9250° E

I came up with this- is this how it's supposed to look?  Maybe it's because I have saturation, contrast and sharpness turned all the way up?  I see a whole lot of white lol, and when I move around sometimes the whole screen is filled with white!

And my thread is only for my addons and for questions about my addons.

Sorry JD, thanks for the help!  I should turn down my settings a bit, although they really do make the colors pop on other worlds!

Donut world

The sun is called D'Atar, the 'planet' is called D'nut.

Yeah, I loaded the fictional ones and I got two b's and two c's in 0.99.
Works flawlessly in 0.98 however.

That's because SE 0.990 in the latest version already contains the planets.
Use this file:
TeegardensFictionalV2.pak

It removes the double planets.

What if there was an alternate universe where Earth wasn't the planet that developed life, but its moon did? (assuming it could hold a very thick atmosphere, its very weak gravity would say otherwise)
We always need to add more boosters.

JD, I heard on the news today that a planetary collision was observed in another solar system and it created a new moon (like how ours was created), do you have any info about this or a possible add-on for it?

Where did you get that? Do you have a source for this?
