Kappa Andromeda

The catalog entry for Kappa Andromeda contains a small bug. That's why the star looks like this in SpaceEngine:
scr00003.jpg
I have created a corrected script. As a result, the star now looks like this:
scr00006.jpg
(The bug was too low a temperature value.)

Seen from close up, the brown dwarfs are almost completely black. I can not do anything about it.
scr00020.jpg
Who does not want an aurora for the brown dwarfs because he thinks this is unrealistic, can remove the two slashes for 'NoAurora true' in the script.

JackDole, shouldn't fixes like the above be included in a future steam patch rather than being added to the addon folder? I mean I wouldn't mind if it was 0.980 but I want to keep my 0.990 addon folder clean & tidy and only use it for, well, add-ons like your nebula & cluster add-on :) . Sorry I intend no offense and I welcome all your add-ons whether fixes or ehhm add-ons ;)

I do this 'fixes' for my own pleasure. Whether and in what form they will be integrated into later versions of SE is not up to me.

Teegarden's b + c (fictional)

Here's my fictional version of the two planets of Teegarden's Star.

(I've found that if I just specify 'Lum' (luminosity) in the star script, instead of 'AbsMagn' or 'AppMagn', the planet's temperature is a bit higher.)

I like your fictional version. The articles I've read said these planets might be habitable, so maybe your fiction is closer to reality than we think.

World Ship
(Inspired by the Magog World Ship, from the television show Andromeda.)

Okay, I have now also made a version for SE 0.990.
scr00072.jpg
scr00075.jpg
scr00079.jpg
But it requires a pretty good computer because the rings are made up of 600 segments. Loads pretty slowly. At least for me.
(And maybe there are other problems!)

JD, with Vlad integrating Teegarden's Star's planets into the new version, can I still add yours?  I noticed this one is different from the other one you posted in your mods thread.

Also, I have your special shaders from 0980e, can I use those shaders with 0990 too?  Or are the new shaders in 0990 better?

I do not know exactly. But in any case, you would have to unpack the .pak archive, load the files into an edfitor, and save again so that the files have a newer date than the version built into SE 0.990.

SE 0.980 shaders generally do not work in SE 0.990.

Thanks.  I loaded the more realistic ones you linked to and now I have two b's and two c's lol.  How are the ones on this page different from the ones you made earlier?

Also what is the difference between the Goblin here and the earlier one (which I also reinstalled).

And should I delete your shaders from 0990 or will having them in the add-on folder not have any effect?

Also how do I go to certain coordinates in SE in the new version?  I am having a very difficult time getting to where the eclipse was in Chile.
