Obviously this is not for everyday use: it took ages to just to get to SE main menu. But it works.
I don't know how this could have possibly worked on my previous setup with only 16GB RAM.
So I guess if I want a 60M database I should go up to 64GB lol.
And consequent;y the full GAIA catalog with 1billion objects should require at least half a tera of RAM
