redking, that's because the old galaxies don't exist with the mod. Guess you'll have to explore the new ones to find new locations ;)

All procedurally generated stars in the Milky Way begin in an unchanged installation with 'RS 8474'. The number '8474' is the internal serial number of the Milky Way.
If you install a galaxy addon, this serial number changes.
For me in '8485'.
So if you are looking for any saved star system within the Milky Way, you only need to change the 'RS 8474-something' in 'RS 8485-something, and you may find your system again.
Likewise, the serial numbers of all other galaxies change.

Change the milky way galaxy, as a suggestion.

Ooops didn't notice that. I don't really think Milky Way should be changed. Unless there is some new information about it so it has to be changed. In my opinion current Milky Way is very good.
To be honest I am not planning on editing the mod any time soon. I am waiting for a version with a new galaxy render model. But I think I will be waiting for at least one year. I only made a new realistic andromeda galaxy just for myself and that's it hehehe
