Retro-Visor's Planetary Systems
I have made the first four addons of [ref]tRetro-Visor[/ref] compatible with SE 0.980. (TTA-17, JAMES-X1, CYPHON and Proxima b). I have packed them together in one .pak file.

It's easy. Only the expression 'Precession 0' needs to be removed from the files.

tRetro-Visor-Systems-0980.pak
Hello! Thank you very much for making this. Is there any chance you could make the 3 most recent addons in this thread compatible with SE 0.980 as well (Ventra-5, SIKIAN, Fantatus)? I ask because I get a lot of glitches with the patched 980e version.

Also, many, many thanks indeed to Retro-Visor for these exquisite planetary systems!

Dark Yuggoth on The Rim

I've left custom planets a bit in the dark (no pun intended) by doing work on Importing ships and testing PBR and other stuff. To compensate, I added this custom planet in the Solar System, loosely based on the descriptions by H. P. Lovecraft and Richard A. Lupoff. Lupoff went too far in sci-fi for my taste so I toned it down.

Copy the catalogs folder into your addons folder.

The planet comes with its own description, quoting Lovecraft's description in The Whisperer in Darkness.
Add it by copying and pasting the text in user-eng-db-yuggoth.cfg into your user-eng-db.cfg file.

SIKIAN System
There seems to be a problem in my (0.9.8.0). The first two planets, Lambert, it's moons, and Errias, all appear to be inside the Sikian star....lol

This is because the script uses the 'PeriodDays' parameter. This parameter only exists since SE 0.980_e.
You would have to change all 'PeriodDays' to 'Period' and divide the value by 365.24218985.

It took me a bit to figure out which instances to change, but I did. However, when it comes to dividing the value, you lose me. Math is one of the problem areas for me due to a disability I've been inflicted with. They all seem to work without tinkering with the values...but I imagine they are in the wrong orbit or something.

You seem to be the "go-to-guy" here on these kind of things...maybe you can help me out on two other problems I have....?
One is with "Starlight's Addons" Heliosum and B189. They crash the program. I asked for help in the thread, but IDK if the person is even on here anymore. (edit: all of Starlight's addons on page 2 fail except Magnus. That's Heliosum, B189, and the entire Polaris system [P190])

The other is with "Silicon's Canis Major settingThe Belisama System crashes my system too. Now they did reply, but only to say they would remove it until they figured it out. Which it appears they did.

Thanks in advance for what ever further assistance you give.

I answer that question in Starlight's Addons.
The other is with "Silicon's Canis Major setting" The Belisama System crashes my system too.

And this question I answer here: Silicon's Canis Major setting
