Colors indicate a specific group of users. SpaceEngineer is forum administrator, JackDole a global moderator. You can click on a name to see which is which in the user's profile.

It will. Soon...eventually...it might be a while

I hope space engine will have this
3D rings / rings with rocks is on TODO

Also if you keep asking to implement the new feature:
Anyway, I should note: as long as SE is a scientifically accurate Universe simulator, then one day it will implement ALL space objects and phenomenon that are known to modern astronomy (if this would be possible to implement on the personal computers). So you may not bother yourself with questions like "will SE one day have meteor rain implemented". I guarantee that it WILL.

You need 10 posts to create a new thread or edit one of your posts :)
Space is too big to understand, so do not try to understand.

Until you reach 10 posts as mentioned in Forum Rules, you can probably find an existing thread where your questions/comments can easily fit :)

Will the current and future versions of SE fit into most laptop models, just like on the desktop computers? As long as those have enough hard drive space and Windows 10.
CPU: Intel Core i7-3770 3.4 GHz 4-Core Processor; RAM: Ballistix 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3-2400 memory; GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 960 4GB FTW Gaming ACX 2.0+; and Windows 10 64-bit

...and a robust video card with 2GB VRAM or more, as mentioned in website.
My notebook model, described in signature, has 40-60 frames per second most of the time.

How long it takes to load landscape textures- is that a function of clock speeds, number of shader cores, or both?

Complete elaboration of the detailed scene at LOD 2 takes more than a minute and around 20s at LOD 1 for me, depending on the subject, and I don't have the faintest idea :)
