Those are very nice photos, it kind of remembers me the place where I was living 10 years ago, where it was at quite high altitudes and you could see the clouds under the mountains.
I should definitely go back there and make a few photos!

Winter sunsets last a long time at high latitudes. I think this red sunset might have been caused by temperature inversion, trapping cold, misty air near the ground, and at high altitudes the sun passes through that layer just before it sets.
