Samsø, a danish island. The bay and the gently hills near the bay are called "Møgelskår".
Love this island pretty much... :)

A lucky shot.  I noticed in through the window of our "belt wagon" (the thing in the background in the first pic below) transport to the place we're staying now.  I quickly zoomed to max, clicked, and amazingly it was sharp despite the bumpy ride.

Beautiful weather here today for skiing to a nearby summit.  Sunny, -15C - 10C, not much wind. The kids are happy.

I think I've seen pictures of clouds like these before - but from Mars.

I was hiking around Deception Pass the other day and was surprised to find that I had a clear view all the way to Victoria, BC, just over 50km away.  As I walked down from the bridge to the beach, it vanished over the horizon.  I thought this was a pretty neat way to see the curvature of the Earth and effect of altitude on one's horizon, so I took some snapshots with the telephoto. :)

Three photos, from about 60, 40, and 10 meters elevation:

This is a flag I made from one of my dreams.
What happened to Ireland?
A monarchist revolution occurred, and they became a 'Federal Monarchy'. They conquered all of Ireland and unified it, and they colonized Delaware. The V part stands for victory for the irish people, the line going across stands for the obstacles in life everyone must overcome in order to reach victory.
I've also written a few other alternate histories, and I've made a map of various nations from my dreams, pictured here.

That's mighty impressive!  How long have you been chasing storms?

I've never seen a single tornado in my whole life.
I think I would have needed to change my panties if I ever saw anything like that.

I live for it. I am a professional photographer and storm chaser. This year I will be deploying probes in the path of tornadoes in hopes of collecting first time data of it's kind.

Close to 10 years steady, on and off until I finally made the career jump, sold everything and moved to the Alley.
