It's pretty impressive though a bit basic, that terrain definitely leaves something to be desired in SE.  Competition is always a good thing.

[hr] I tried out the program, the controls need some work. While it is primitive it is definitely something to keep an eye on.

yeah i would like a free mod like in SE, i just kept spinning and spinning.
also i would love to see rocks like here in SE. gives details to the surface.

Yeah, the detail and the rock scatters look nice, but overall I think the terrain isn't as realistic as that in SE, at least from what I've seen in the video.
I tried out the program
You're lucky; I tried to run it but it said that VCOMP140.DLL is missing. Well, perhaps next time. :D

Oh, wow! This is competition indeed!
I continue to eagerly await when SE's active galaxies feature polar jets (or SE has true procedural galaxies to begin with), and the rendering of distant superclusters like clouds is very pretty.
Its representation of intergalactic space reminds me of a little test program I made myself (scroll down to "Voronoi Universe"), but much more polished.

I have seen it and I have it. It is not as good as space engine though, still nice.
With the amount of bizarre creatures on Earth, I doubt aliens would look like humans with skull deformations or skin conditions.

What is really nice is the galaxies, some have jets emitted from them.

This game, which I have known for a long time, is a good idea for this aircraft armored man to fly in space.

I'd like one of these programs to become open source one day.  When i saw Galaxia I thought of the Foundation series.
