Asian music is always interesting, I find the styles so alien and energetic, especially if its mixed with some western modes.
A friend recently suggested this band to me calledWagakki, that I found very cool. Unfortunately I don't understand Japanese :( but the music videos are extremely visual and engaging. I thought this track sums up their style quite well:

When I really want to get lost exploring the deepest reaches of the Universe, I simply click these links, and go.

One of my favorite songs from an old Coldwave band from 1986. I sometimes refer to it as my "theme song". Enjoy.

I've been playing the game Subnautica for a while, and I realized that not only is the soundtrack spectacular for the game, but also relaxing and great for casual listening.

I've also discovered the dark ambient band Paleowolf. This is my favorite track from their album Primal Earth. Its soundscape invokes the heat and terror of a world ruled by those mightiest of beasts: the dinosauria.

Heh, just found this whilst browsing on YouTube. I thought there might be enough Skyrim fans on this forum to recognize this.

Wow, that was really well done.  And yes, I believe there are quite a few Skyrim fans around here. :)

Skyrim had an outstanding soundtrack.  My favorite song was From Past to Present:

Jeremy Soule is an audio god. From Morrowind to Skyrim and beyond, he hasn't disappointed.

This is probably my favorite track (it really invokes those clear winter nights with a full moon), but all others are very close seconds:

No comment upon the great tracks of Skyrim would be complete without the great work of Malukah (I'm a filthy Imperial-sympathizer, so this is the Imperial version of the song ):

What a great game.

Skyrim music is music I have heard so many times now my brain almost interprets it as background noise.

I cannot decide which is better: the docking scene in Interstellar, or the landing sequence in First Man.  Both had me in awe in IMAX. :)

The 'new' game Star Citizen has some good tracks in its OST. Here are two of my favorites:

Recently I've gotten into the Eurasian music (again). This band is pretty cool:

And this video is neat (for purely academic reasons ):

Jarre and Vangelis pioneered electronic music in the 70's and 80's, both creating their unique sound given the limitations of the synthesizers of the time.  There has been a Kickstarter project to revive the genre (80's chiptunes in Jarre/Vangelis sound).  I finally got through all the disks, and that was well spent money.  Pure nostalgia, and well done.

I listened to Vangelis and Jarre practically since birth. Very powerful and emotive stuff for me.
