Hi, guys.
Did not want to create a new thread, probably you can help me here.

I want to save a gameplay video of Space Engine, which is on Twitter
https://twitter.com/drewwagar/status/933810963530371073

Do you know how to do that?

I googled "download twitter videos" and http://twittervideodownloader.com/ came up second. Indeed it works for the video you linked.

You can probably also dig into the source code of the page and get it that way.

or you can add "sss" to your link before "twitter" word
like this

Also works perfect

DoctorOfSpace, never ever decide to buy a game by cinematic trailer, wait for real gameplay footage!  :D
i learned the hard way. also in all trailers the "in engine footage" always looks better than the real thing at the release
Good advice! And I usually wait for a year or so after release too so that I can watch all the buggy mess get sorted out and updates and whatnot.

A new update for No Man's Sky is coming!

To a Galaxy billion light-years away from a Dark World.

I've been playing the NEXT update for a bit now. Planets seem even more boring but look much nicer in some respects. I'm finding strange ones every so often. Mods will improve that. Land polygon popping is still visible when entering the atmosphere. You can see the square fans zipping out to cover the surface for a few seconds. Needs a better fade mechanism, like Space Engine, the popping is very minimal. Clouds pop in with no fade either. Doesn't look natural.

It's much more stable now... Frames are more steady, less choppy. External view of planets is still very boring, although you can see detailed land masses better. Water is all blue so far, not natural to me. Water should be the color of the atmosphere at the very least.

Third person is nice. You now have a 3d avatar you can customize. Overall the game just isn't to it's full potential in procedural generation. Like the creatures, they should have randomized alien races as well & have more cities on planets to give it a more flourishing aspect. Game is really bare bones and still beta to me but overall looks nicer and more stable. Again I feel modding will improve the look over time.

Have you heard about the new game HADES 9? Its an interesting game that reminded me a bit of Sins of a Solar Empire meets EVE. Plus Isaac Arthur was involved in making it, so it must be good...

On to a different game, for those of you who like Warhammer Fantasy, you might like this fps-style horde hack-n-slasher:

I managed to 99% my CPU using US[sup]2[/sup]:
Image
I thought I had purchased a good CPU but apparently I need a 32+core i9 to enjoy US[sup]2[/sup] :(
Now I know why SE and any other space sim should never attempt to physically simulate the universe :(
So don't ask why star and galaxy motion is not implemented..
