Well that sucks. I was hoping to watch the whole 6-month journey. Hopefully he'll get the cameras rolling again closer to Mars.

The camera would simply record the car against a pitch dark background. It's very unlikely that it will ever pass close enough to Earth, Mars or any asteroid that would be visible as anything else than a few pixels. It has an orbit typical for meteors hitting Earth, but again, the odds of it hitting Earth within the foreseeable future are very low.

Never mind, it would be pitch dark background of an asteroid belt area, not just any pitch black ;)

It will certainly finish then car flies too far away. Radio transmission from a great distance is not easy. After that maybe we will have single frames time to time.

I know, unless they mounted a big antenna dish with a good radio transmitter, plus some targeting system and efficient energy source, we wouldn't get any data. It was just a joke, perhaps I'm too enthusiastic now

Nothing yet, I am just waiting on one to be publicly released, as my modeling skills are not up to the task.

I was at the Falcon Heavy launch last week, watching from the Saturn V center at KSC. Bill Nye was present. My lens was slightly out of focus for much of the flight, so the pictures are a bit blurry sadly. Here are some highlights:
Bill Nye
KSC LC-39A (where Falcon Heavy was waiting for launch)
FH in flight
Shot demonstrating the brightness of the exhaust plume during launch (it's dazzlingly bright to look at in person)
One of the boosters gliding back to land
Booster starting the 3-engine phase of its landing burn
And I know it's a SpaceX thread, but I did get to glimpse Blue Origin's new factory while I was there, it's very impressive to look at
