midtskogen, technically that is already possible if you modified a VR headset and used a phone for the computer side of things.

You could probably take a pair of glasses and lay a screen into them and run the line to a phone, mount a camera or two on the bridge above the nose, and then stream data to the screen or screens in the glasses.  Would be pretty janky, but it is definitely possible.

Some nice aurora i northern Norway last night caught by one of our meteor cameras.  The camera is currently recording at 15 fps, which seems to be a good compromise between motion and exposure.

Epic!
Right in the center. I want to try that shot one day. Did you used this web tool to find the exact date and location to perform the observation? It's so reliable as they say?

I don't know about the reliability of that tool, but can say that calsky.com has better searching options and information output.

Yes, I did use Transit Finder, and it was perfectly accurate, the path of the station across the lunar disk and the exact time of the transit matched the prediction perfectly. In fact, that's how I got this shot - I used the time given by that website for the transit, then used a watch to track the time and pressed the shutter when the appropriate second arrived!

Hm.  Cool.  My location has three solar transits in February, and 16 transits within 100 km (between 10 February and 22 February - it wouldn't calculate further than that).

Doesn't look good for me. Winter is a cloudy time of year here.  Hopefully some photos come from elsewhere around the Pacific. :)
