These look like the Lagoon, Lemon Slice, and veil nebulas, does this mean that SE will have procedural nebulae that look exactly like real nebulae? Why couldn't vlad then just create Raymarched versions of the real nebulae? :?    He says "used for procedural ones" just before those pics. ...

The cyclops isn't fully textured, all the petals are just white, yet in the screenshot you showed, they have texture.

The current version is 0.980e (e is the patch for 0.980 released last year around the solar eclipse). There is no way to get 0.990 without beta access, which is now closed to additional users, until release.
