How about a way to add Blender 3D objects into Space Engine? Useful for creating things like cities, ships, structures, etc, on planet surfaces....
Maybe even some small patches of custom landscaping. Thx.

Is there a way to edit some details on a procedurally generated planet?

Example - I had a terra generated, but now I just want to add a lake here, and a river there, etc, to the procedurally generated terrain without necessarily changing anything else..... just a few small edits.

exporting textures

Is there a way to take a planetary surface texture and modify it?

Ex - I want to take Jupiter's surface and make it more of a blue/greenish hue.

Every time I try to export it's texture for photoshopping, I end up with just a blank image.

Seems like most planets in SE always appear washed out, a hazy white. Ex- Mars and Venus look white and hazy all the time.
Is this the way they look to everyone else?

Thank you stellarator, that was a great answer. It seems that given the riches of minerals, ect, on a  theoretical habitable planet, fresh water oceans would be quite a reach, especially with a later generation star.... so I guess I'll stick with regular salty oceans and just use abundant rain/evap ...
