Large nebulae have other problem - blending with the galaxy. There is simply no blending, nebula just rendered on top of the galaxy. So if you try to look on it through the galaxy dust, the result will be incorrect: scr00719.jpg scr00720.jpg This is not so noticeable on small nebulae. Similar probl...

Wolf-Rayet stars require a new class of nebulas. I plan to update nebula classification for next version, not for 0.990.

That sounds amazing! Thanks!

So SpaceEngineer's latest post says about adding stellar remnants to planetary and supernova remnant nebulae. But Wolf-Rayet stars can also exist in the centre of nebulae. Will they be added in as well?

Another question about Nebulae: will some nebulae have Wolf-Rayet stars at the center? Like Eta Carinae?

27163 Is there a way to participate in this? Launch/Steam trailer is nearing completion and is being worked on by at least 4 people with input from 11 people, so I don't think anymore people are needed currently. I hope the launch trailer is a masterpiece, if it features elon musk If it is who I th...

Most likely, as I said "loosely", more artistic than accurate.
That's fair enough. It is indeed astronomically beautiful.

27160 Asking a question about nebulae: can circumstellar disks appear around procedural stars now? No, they are not finished yet. Circumstellar disks and animated supernovae were experimental features, not finished ones, and they won't be finished for this release (at the very least, supernovae won...
