I found a Terra with a very close terran moon. While it's not unheard of, I haven't seen another in years of looking. https://s1.postimg.org/16sul9t9wf/scr00832.jpg I also have never seen this repeated again: 4 terran moons in a row. Two are warm, 2 are temperate. https://s1.postimg.org/2nyzn0xu2n/s...
1547 Can you see the cat? The Cat nebula is fantastic! How did you find that? I just ran across it! I wish SE would save your places according to the name you gave the feature, not what type of feature it was. I know that I named this nebula, but I can't remember what, and "cat" doesn't ...
It seems to me as though, after seeing an eclipse in person & seeing street lights cut on automatically, and since daytime drive lights are a thing now, and most cities have the lights on 24/7 in major buildings anyway, wouldn't you still see the city lights layer, even when an eclipse shadow bl...
Pano2VR works, you just have to transfer the 6 cube faces to a different input format, namely equirectangular. If you actually process the image it will put a watermark on it, but you're just swapping the input type, so it shouldn't add a watermark. Also, Autostitch is a good free utility, but hones...
Why not simply use the 'Cylindrical' projection mode? scr00394.jpg Because in order to get the proper resolution in a 360 panorama, you would literally have to set your screen resonlution to over 6,000 pixels in width, and a lot of people's graphics can barely handle Space Engine at normal fullscre...
Ah, that explains why you said it was "impossible". :p I never messed with nodes, or with the pro version, I just input 6 cube facets, and covert the input to equirectangular format, just like I stated in my OP. I also noticed that you are yet another victim of Space Engine's export skybox...
2nd-ed. It's cool to see so many right next to each other like that. It really gives you a better idea about the staggering variety, just among terras!
"Export Skybox" is exporting cube facets with the wrong names. They are supposed to be exported this way: bug example 1.jpg But instead they are exported this way: bug example 2.jpg The result is that either the wrong facet becomes "front", or the top and bottom facets are skewed...
" Two profiles" Oh, I clearly see the one on the right. That's really good. The others are not very obvious to me. The "fish" are in three groups of two, do you see them? They are quite small, in comparison to the large, round crater lakes. The smaller profile is to the ...
