General 0.9.9.0 Discussion

Not likely but not impossible.  Remember SE has no set release date.
Maybe HarbingerDawn or SpaceEngineer can confirm this April release is false.
HarbingerDawn asked in the very same Twitter post for the source, so it's mo...

Artist Rendition-Accurate Exoplanets

Hm okay, though this is the first time in a forum that i need a certain amount of posts to edit mine.^^ Anyway, thank you for the explanation! :) By the way, do you know how great the distance is between Earth and Kepler-452? In SE it was something around 2800 Ly or so but that contradicts with an A...

[post]16957[/post] why can't i change the age of the star systems?
The 'Age' parameter does not work for scripts in the 'catalogs\stars' folder. For it to work, you need to make a '[b...

Artist Rendition-Accurate Exoplanets

That's weird, why can't i change the age of the star systems? The age of Kepler-442 is 11.326 Billion Years in SE, in reality it's 2.9 Billion Years, but i can't set that parameter... The author set the Age for LHS 1140 to 5 Billion Years, as a test i wanted to change that number but it's impossible...

SpaceEngine F.A.Q.

Okay, i have a question for myself and i hope i don't get hated for this! :P 14400 Is this a closed Beta? yes Why? So, i think now that SpaceEngineer decided to skip the version 0.9.8.1, and go straight to 0.9.9.0, why can't we get a current state of development version? Don't get me wrong, i don't ...

Work progress - 0.9.8.1

SpaceEngineer, this is just great! My most wanted feature, finally reworked Atmospheric Compositions and even a new filter! Yayyyy :D
Are you sure you can still call that 0.9.8.1? With all this new great features 0.9.9.0 would fit better!^^
I'm dying to play it myself! :) Keep up the excellent work!

Work progress - 0.9.8.1

Hey SpaceEngineer, what amazing new pictures, im so excited to test the new update in the future! :D But i've a question, are these stars in the nebulae "real" stars, with planet systems etc. that you can actually fly by? The sprites look like, as if they are just part of the nebula... And...

JackDole's Universe

Hey JackDole, is it possible to add a feature like "Maximum Variation of AscendingNode in degrees" to the asteroid belt maker script? I tried it for myself but with my non existent programming skills, i failed! XD
That'd be awesome, it'd make my system look much more natural. :)
