Qr Bbpost Is it in the update I installed today (1810)?

Yes.
And this version is the same as in my .pak file.
So you better not install my .pak file. (To save space on the hard drive.  :) )

Yes, the whole text. But you don't have to paste the whole text here.
You can use Pastebin and post the link here.

Troubleshooting and bug reports - SpaceEngine 0.990

33472 How do I stop this? Delete the ' cache ' folder in your SpaceEngine installation! You also have a lot of error messages regarding some addons. First of all: Addons do not belong in the ' data ' folder! They belong in the ' addons ' folder. (And its subfolders, which you may have to create fir...

Here it is.

QVTelesscopii.pak

(Search for 'QV Tel' or 'HR 6819'.)
But it will already be included in the next update of SpaceEngine.

Troubleshooting and bug reports - SpaceEngine 0.990

33556 I'm having troubles with SpaceEngine. It does the loading but it crashes on main menu... Judging by your log, SE crashes when trying to load the 'Menu' star system. So there may be something corrupt about your installation. But first I would uninstall the 'Newhorizon' addon. You have two erro...

Qr Bbpost It's orbit is unrealistically long.

This is a bug in SE 0.980. If an object orbits around a barycenter and only the 'SemiMajorAxis' is specified, SpaceEngine incorrectly calculates the orbital period.
Add the line
        Period          2.695

under 'Orbit'.

Mods and Addons - Requests, suggestions and ideas

33486 So any takers for my request for that system? I've made scripts for the suns, but not yet for the planets. Except for one: Lederonia and its moons. (I probably won't be able to make the other planets at this time.) CantrasBC.sc (Put this in 'addons\catalogs\stars'.) CantrasWorlds0980.sc (Put ...

Qr Bbpost I'm not seeing an update yet. Steam is set to auto-update but I'm still at 0.990.39

The update is so far only in the official beta branch.
To get it, you have to go to the properties and select 'beta - public beta branch' from the 'BETAS' page.

And don't you still have a 'se.log'? In the 'system' folder of SpaceEngine? Even if it's just a very short one?

Qr Bbpost Does anybody have any ideas about my problem I told above?

All I can think of is to completely reinstall SpaceEngine. That means uninstalling it and then deleting any remaining files in the SpaceEngine folder so that the folder is completely empty. And then reinstall it.

Troubleshooting and bug reports - SpaceEngine 0.9.8.0

33454 I have instaled Open AL, VISAL C++ etc. - and also reainstal everything without any result.. Your problem is that you have a current graphics card driver. SE 0.980 / SE 0.980_e no longer works with newer NVIDIA drivers. (Version 436.02 and higher.) So you have to go back to an older driver or...

General questions about SpaceEngine

33447 1) What purpose saves the Nebula Editor? The nebula editor is for editing raytracing nebulae. These are all procedurally generated nebulae, the names beginning with 'RN'. scr00854.jpg Really existing nebulae are mostly so-called sprite nebulae and cannot be edited with the editor. scr00855.jp...

If SpaceEngine comes so far that it creates a 'se.log', post it here. (You can use pastebin for this.) The file is located in the 'system' directory of the SpaceEngine installation.
