Help with creating Mods and Addons

30575 So, my own shader mods won't work for base 0.990 even if written right? Shaders for SE 0.990 need to be adjusted. At least the shaders that relate to planetary textures. (tg_terra _ *. glsl and so on.)  (I do not know exactly which shaders have been changed. At any rate, there are many shader...

Help with creating Mods and Addons

30568 save and close. restart SE. I did that. (I always make sure the files I need have a newer date than the default files. (Otherwise, SE would totally ignore them and SE would work normally.)) The problem is that SE 0.990 can not work properly with these shaders because some shaders have changed...

30564 rodrigosmod099.pak Okay, if I use this version, I get this message. Error.jpg If I click ' Ja ' (Yes), SpaceEngine will load. But my planets look like this: scr00035.jpg Instead of this: scr00036.jpg (You have to have a very special version of SE 0.990 that Rodrigo's mods works for you!)

Troubleshooting and bug reports - SpaceEngine 0.990

30535 Could you add the moon to your Krypton add-on?  There is also a space elevator linking the moon to Krypton. Perhaps. 30535 The below is from Merope 6b.  This isn't a procedural world?  Was there actually a planet found in the Pleaides?  I didn't know that! ' Merope 6b ' (and 6a) are procedura...

Troubleshooting and bug reports - SpaceEngine 0.990

30524 The RS 8496 location doesn't work for me, all my locations begin with 8497- but no galaxy add ons added! In a SpaceEngine without addons, all stars have 8496 as the first 4 digits. 30524 I wanted to install your cluster, will that alter other clusters, like globular clusters, and the planets ...

Qr Bbpost I tried to search for  RS 8496-463-4-2811-785 2 and even removed the 2 at the end to find the star, but either way, the program says Object Not Found

Let me guess: you have a galaxy addon.
Then these coordinates will no longer work for you.
Galaxy addons change the coordinates.

Help with creating Mods and Addons

30488 Is it possible to make a nebula addon compatible with both version 0.980 and 0.990? That is, it should use a raymarched model for 0.990, but fall back to a sprite model for 0.980. It should be possible. 1. The models must both have the same name. 2. The model for SE 0.990 belongs in the folde...

30467 this is the new on I can not discover any errors in the log. However, it looks like you've created the log in which you started SpaceEngine and quit immediately after the main menu appeared. Visit some planets before you quit the program and post the new se.log. And set in the ' main-user.cfg...

Remove 'rodrigosmod.pak'. This does not work with SE 0.990 and is most likely the reason that your planets are black.
By the way, you should also remove all addons that have not been explicitly made for SE 0.990!

Troubleshooting and bug reports - SpaceEngine 0.990

30446 Yes, but it'll become inconvenient for distributing .paks that include locale\eng-db.cfg. Either SE needs to make an exception for handling the modification date of eng-db.cfg, or should addons use config\usr-eng-db.cfg instead? You can make your own file with a name of your own. You could gi...
